Supreme Contest
Attention! Cool Stuff!

(Thanks Aspyr, Jack Pattillo)
And we want to give this stuff to you! (Autographed sleeve, Copy of Supreme Commander, faceplate, autographed scripts from Surrender) But you’ll have to do something for us; we want to see your best robot. This can take the form of a photoshop, drawing, or machinima; whatever you want to do. Just don’t make an actual robot that winds up crushing the office or anything.
Deadline: Let’s say, August 20th.
Send entries to: Joel@redvsblue.com.
*Official rules; somebody is going to get some stuff. Everything else will be made up as we go along.

So many levels of Gross
I really, really wish today's comic was not 100% accurate (as it's gross on so many levels), but unfortunately it's true. I'm just glad I called in sick that day. Hey btw. The San Diego Comic Con is tomorrow, and as Gus recently posted, we will be there. Check us out at booth 1231, located conveniently next to your friendly neighborhood Penny Arcade dudes.

Zap! Pow! Blam!
By now you’ve probably seen Batman, and can relate to today’s comic. While undeniably cool, Batman is nothing compared to how awesome the Joker is in the movie. He’s so cool in fact, that Luke made an awesome wallpaper in his honor. You can get it in either 1024 or 1440. Maybe if you guys like it enough, I can convince Luke to make a special mini-print or something. Speaking of mini-prints, today’s comic is available to purchase if you’re so inclined.

Events!
Howdy folks, just wanted to give you all a little update about a couple things going on in the near future. Next week we will be attending Comic Con in San Diego. We will be in the same booth we were in last year (booth # 1231). We'll all be sitting around talking shit about Geoff and drinking lots of vodkawater. This is our fourth year at Comic Con and every year it gets more and more crowded. Please if you feel overwhelmed by the crowds, try to pass out at someone else's booth.
Next month we will be attending PAX in Seattle. We've been to every PAX so far and damned if we are going to break that tradition. We will be sharing a giant ass booth with Bungie and be running some Grifball games. More info on that as the time draws closer.
We really scaled back the number of events we are attending this year so that we can focus our energy on producing Reconstruction. I think the tradeoff has been well worth it, plus we figure you guys were getting sick of seeing us at every convention in the US.
So, to summarize if you are at Comic Con or PAX this year stop by and say hi.

Dev Day and the Summaries of Mods
Numbers are awesome. You know what else is awesome? Seeing numbers. That's why we've gone numbers friendly for today's Dev Day. Our new feature is Mod Summaries.
Mod Summaries show you a breakdown of all the mods you have given and received. They also appear on user profiles too. Not only that, we consolidate the breakdown to a simple "+1 / +1" to show you, firstly, the balance of positive to negative mods received, and then the balance of mods given out. So if I give out a lot more negative mods than I do positive mods, my breakdown would be something like "+45 / -10". Mods received are before the slash, and mods given out are after the slash.
You can get to this cool new data from your Homepage and from user profiles. Let us know how you like them, we think they'll be great for finding out how positive or negative users are. We don't want pessimism, we want optimism! Spread the word.

Summer Internship
Ben has been in the office for three days now, and he's already learned a ton about how office life works. For instance, this morning he learned (the hard way) that I don't take fucking sugar in my coffee. This weekend he's going to learn how to properly cut American grass, trim American hedges, and wash my car - all valuable skills. After a few months of this kind of business education, I feel he'll be ready to enter the corporate workspace!

300!
Believe it or not, today's comic is our 300th! Congrats to Griffon and Luke. It seems like yesterday I posted their first comic, and here we are 299 comics later. My hat is off to those two for kicking such ass so consistently over the last two years. What a run.
I'm also excited to announce a new feature for RT Comics. Below today's comic you will see a little "buy a print" button. Clicking on this will allow you to purchase a 11x11 print of the comic. They are printed in super-high resolution on 110-lb glossy stock, for the paltry sum of $9.95 each. You can see a pic of them here for reference (the lovely young lady is Ben). Initially we are only selling the current comics as they are released, but eventually our entire back-catalog will be available in our online store (also via the comic archive).
